tutoring
To assist our busy families, T.F. North offers tutoring via our Homework Center to students. The Homework Center is designed to provide students with a structured environment in which strong study skills are fostered by our content area experts: our teachers. This tutoring is beneficial for all students.
A contract listing the expectations and requirements of the program must be signed by the students and parent. Children are expected to come prepared with ALL necessary supplies. Computer access is also provided. Students should have enough work for the entire hour. Once they have completed the day’s assignments, we recommend they spend the time reviewing for future tests and quizzes. A bus will be provided so that students will have transportation home. Parents will be notified if students do not meet expectations of the program.
